On the eve of the American Water Summit in Washington DC, Ralph Eberts, Executive Managing Director in Black & Veatch’s global water business, moderated the second in a series of roundtables focused on economic pressures and leading during tough economic times. The gathering brought together about a dozen water industry leaders, including leaders of major utilities and heads of prominent water industry trade associations from across the United States.
The group shared best practices that, in their experience, have succeeded despite the current economic conditions. By turning the focus knob sharply on the issues and opportunities that are specific to these tough economic times, a wide range of perspectives were uncovered whlie some common themes emerged.
