On 26 April 2010, the first day of the Global Water Intelligence (GWI) Summit in Paris, titled “Transforming the World of Water,” Black & Veatch conducted three roundtable sessions on “Overcoming Barriers to Water Reuse in an Integrated Portfolio.” This unusual networking session consisted of three separate, consecutive half-hour sessions where conference participants rotated among about 35 tables every 30 minutes. According to Black & Veatch’s Ralph Eberts, who chaired the sessions, “It was like business speed-dating.” Approximately 20 participants stopped by to share new, global perspectives. These roundtable sessions were the fourth in a series of six dialogues Black & Veatch’s global water business hosted with clients and business partners about the topic of reuse. The first three took place at WEFTEC, the AMWA Climate Change Forum and Ozwater. The final two took place at AWWA and Singapore International Water Week.
“We have to believe it can work – and then make it work.”
